COLUMBUS — Alcurtis “Krunch” Lang, 62, died Feb.13, 2026, at Baptist Memorial Hospital-Golden Triangle.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, at Carter’s Funeral Services, with Michael Reed officiating. Burial will follow at Piney Grove M.B. Church. Visitation is from 2-6 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Carter’s Funeral Services of Columbus is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Lang was born June 13, 1963, in Columbus, to the late Felix Harris and Willie Mae Lang. He was a graduate of S.D. Lee High School and was a veteran of the United States Army. He was formerly employed as a mechanic with Carl Hogan Automotive and James Fryerson Auto.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings, Gloria Lang, Lousia Smith, and the Rev. Mack Lang.
He is survived by his children, LaTashia Cole of Georgia and LaMorris Lang of Columbus; siblings, Eddie Will Martin, Maurice Cunningham, Portergean Harris, Bobbie Smith, Marilyn McKinney, DeLakes Lang, Bessie Dale Prowell, Brenda Johnson, and Dorothy Washington, all of Columbus, Freddie B. Harris, Amanda Cunningham, the Rev. William Harris and Albert Harris, all of Atlanta, Georgia, Zettie Martin of Racine, Wisconsin, and Stanley Lang of Laur, Minnesota; and 10 grandchildren.
