WEST POINT — A.C. House Jr., 76, died Sept. 20, 2025, at his residence.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday, at Pleasant Grove Pool’s M.B. Church, with James A. Richardson Sr. officiating. Burial will follow at Pool’s Memorial Garden. Visitation is from 4-5 p.m Saturday at Carter’s Mortuary Services Chapel. Carter’s Mortuary Services of West Point is in charge of arrangements.

Mr. House was born Nov. 27, 1948, in West Point, to Betty D. House and the late Asee House Sr.  He was a veteran of the United States Army.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife, Earnestine Mims House; children, Eureka L. Mims, Anthony C. House, O’Dessa D. House, Deanna House and Sonya House; siblings, William McCotry, Littleton House, Thomas House, Willie Mae Jones and Doris Williams; nine grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
