WEST POINT — Kathy Baker Martin, 72, died June 9, 2026, at her residence. 

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Friday, at Calvert Funeral Home, with Dave May officiating. Burial will follow at Greenwood Cemetery. Visitation will be two hours prior to services at the funeral home. Calvert Funeral Home of West Point is in charge of arrangements. 

Mrs. Martin was born on November 3, 1953, in Greenville, to the late Billy and Mary Stevenson Baker. She was a 1971 graduate of Louisville High School and a 1988 graduate of Mississippi University For Women. She was formally employed as a surgical nurse at North Mississippi Medical Center and as a MDS Coordinator at Aurora Health and Rehab. 

She is survived by her husband, Allen Martin of West Point; daughters, Alison Pinkerton and Susan Hodges, both of West Point; son, Michael Martin of Memphis, Tennessee; brothers, Bobby Baker and Billy Don Baker, both of Louisville; and four grandchildren. 

Pallbearers will be Terry Benson, Jim Clark, Sandy Pinkerton, Lamar Hodges, Avery Pinkerson and Mark Frady.
