COLUMBUS — Eddie West Barry Sr., 83, died Nov. 29, 2025, in Columbus.

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Zion Gate M.B. Church. Burial will follow at Memorial Garden of Columbus. Visitation is from 4-6 p.m. Friday at the church. West Memorial Funeral Home of Starkville is in charge of arrangements.

He is survived by his wife, Tippie Barry; children, Eddie Barry Jr. of Cypress, Texas, and Cynthia Barry Hunter of Shiloh, Illinois; sisters, Mattie Barry Sparks of Sandusky, Ohio, and Martha Barry Whitfield of Columbus; three grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
