This weekend has a variety of events to choose from including Wassail Fest, a Festival of Trees, a holiday art markets and more! There is sure to be something for everyone.

Starkville
The Oktibbeha County Heritage Museum is hosting a festival of trees, with trees decorated by local businesses and clubs available for public viewing. The festival will be open each day from 1-4 p.m. Tickets are $10 at the door.

Starkville
The Starkville Area Arts Council is hosting a Holiday Art Market, featuring 12 local artists, from 4-6 p.m. in its Main Street lobby.

Columbus
Main Street Columbus will be hosting Wassail Fest downtown. Wassail is a medieval beverage consisting of hot cider and spices, and attendees will be asked to judge which participating store is the “Wassail Meister.” There will also be an Ugly Sweater Showdown at the Main Street Columbus office during Wassail Fest.

The Columbus Arts Council will be hosting a craft market during Wassail Fest, where local artists will be selling their pieces before the holidays. The craft market will be set up at the Rosenzweig Arts Center.
Saturday, Dec. 2 @ 10 a.m.
Columbus
Main Street Columbus is hosting a Cookie Walk at the Rosenzweig Arts Center from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. For a $10 donation to Main Street Columbus, participants will be given an empty box and a pair of gloves, along with the opportunity to walk through different holiday cookie stations and fill up on sweet treats for the season.

Starkville
The Starkville Symphony will be performing its “Spark of Joy” family holiday concert at Bettersworth Auditorium in Lee Hall.
Sunday, Dec. 3 @ 2 p.m.
West Point
The Black Prairie Blues Museum will be hosting an exhibit opening featuring artist Stacey Monteleone. There will be refreshments and appetizers served, and a live musical performance by Honeyboy and Boots.
