Three men were injured in a shooting Saturday afternoon outside of a home on Airline Road, according to a Columbus Police Department press release.
CPD officers responded to a call of shots fired at about 1:55 p.m. in the 500 block of Airline Road, outside of one of the victim’s homes, Public Information Officer Bryan Moore told The Dispatch.
At the scene, officers found three men had each suffered a single gunshot wound. One man was airlifted to a hospital in Tupelo, while the other two suffered non life-threatening injuries and were taken to Baptist Memorial Hospital-Golden Triangle.
No suspects have been identified, and the investigation is ongoing. Anyone with further information on the shooting is asked to contact CPD at (662) 244-3552 or Golden Triangle Crime Stoppers at (800) 530-7151.
