The Starkville Tea Party is hosting another town hall meeting this weekend, only this time it will give city and county residents the opportunity to quiz local elected officials on issues facing the community.
Starkville Mayor Parker Wiseman will join members of the city Board of Aldermen and Oktibbeha County Board of Supervisors for a panel discussion at the Starkville Sportsplex at 11 a.m. Saturday. The panel will answer written questions from the audience about local issues.
This will be the second weekend in a row the Starkville Tea Party has hosted a town hall meeting. On Saturday, the Starkville Tea Party hosted a meeting at the Sportsplex with Mississippi”s 3rd Congressional District Rep. Gregg Harper and Democratic challenger Joel Gill.
