An early Monday morning shooting on Sixth Avenue North left one man in the hospital.
Officers responded at 3:22 a.m. Monday to Baptist Memorial Hospital-Golden Triangle in reference to a gunshot victim. The victim suffered a single gunshot wound to his upper leg, according to a Tuesday press release from Columbus Police Department.
A witness told police they heard two shots from an unidentified vehicle, the release said.
The victim was treated for his injury and released.
CPD has not identified a suspect in the case, CPD Public Information Officer Bryan Moore told The Dispatch in a text message.
