STARKVILLE — Two men were arrested Friday in connection with an automobile burglary at The Pointe Apartments.
Oktibbeha County Sheriff”s deputies responded to a burglary in progress call on Mary Lee Lane Friday morning and found two men stealing items from a vehicle in the parking lot.
Both men fled the scene on foot. Deputies apprehended one man, Michael L. Dennis, 19, of 1343 E. Saint John St. in Greenville, and charged him with burglary of an automobile and resisting arrest.
James M. Griffin, 19, of 350 Hughes St. in Greenville, turned himself in Friday afternoon and was charged with burglary of an automobile and resisting arrest.
As of Friday night, both men were being held at Oktibbeha County Jail. Dennis did not have a bond set, while Griffin”s bond was set at $10,500.
