Recruitment has begun for Severstal North America’s popular summer internship program, which pairs student interns with mentors to give the students meaningful, real-world experience.
The program is offered at Severstal North America’s Columbus and Dearborn, Mich. locations.
Paid internships are offered in engineering, computer science, accounting and finance, safety, marketing, supply chain management, communications and human resources.
“I believe that a successful internship program benefits both the interns and the company,” said Human Resources Vice President Mel Baggett. “The intern gains valuable insight into the international steel industry as a possible career path through first-hand experience, while the company is provided with a pipeline of future talent.”
