Stylists of Salon 417 will be giving free haircuts through April 23 for donations of hair to Locks Of Love, a public nonprofit organization providing hairpieces to financially disadvantaged children suffering from long-term medical hair loss from any diagnosis.
Colored or permed hair can be used, but highlighted hair and dreadlocks cannot be used.
A minimum of 10 inches in length of hair is required of each donor and appointments must be made in advance.
“Remember, cancer never sleeps and this donation can make a difference,” said stylist Josh Fountain of Salon 417. “Please help Salon 417 make that difference.”
For more information or to schedule an appointment, call the salon at 662-327-9485.
Locks of Love began in 1998 and has recipients of its hairpieces in all 50 states and Canada.
