STARKVILLE — Law enforcement agents called off the search for a missing Oktibbeha County man after he was found safe in North Carolina on Friday.
Aashil Randive, a 21-year-old county resident, was found “alive and in good condition” after the Oktibbeha County Sheriff’s Department issued a missing person alert Thursday.
Before Friday, Randive had last been seen almost a week ago.
OCSD Lt. Brett Watson said it appeared Randive “just up and decided to go.”
No other information about Randive’s discovery was released by officials.
