A Starkville man has been charged with aggravated assault and attempted arson.
Officers were dispatched to 200 Hartness Street at 11:09 p.m. Sunday after two victims were injured in the incident.
SPD did not release the extent of the victims’ injuries.
Derrick Devante Young, 21, no address provided, was subsequently arrested, a SPD release stated.
Young was taken to Oktibbeha County Jail Monday.
The investigation is ongoing, and SPD released no other details.
