A former West Point Municipal Judge was arrested in Monroe County on Thursday and charged with breaking and entering of a dwelling.
David Lambert, 47, of West Point, is also a former prosecuting attorney for the City of West Point.
He was arrested by the Monroe County Sheriff’s Department after reportedly kicking in the door of a home on HuckLann Drive. A press release issued by the Monroe County Sheriff’s Department stated Lambert is also accused of allegedly breaking into the residence to assault a female inside the home.
He was released from custody on Friday on a $5,000 bond.
