Lily Henry, of Columbus, was named to The University of Alabama President’s List for fall semester 2023.
Henry is a 2023 graduate of New Hope High School where she was named valedictorian of her class. New Hope High School was opened in 1923, making 2023 the school’s centennial year. She is one of only two Mississippi students to be named on the president’s list for the fall semester.
Students named to the president’s list maintain an academic record of 4.0, receiving all A’s for the entire semester.
Henry, who is majoring in biology, participated in various extracurriculars throughout high school including the National Beta Club, National Technical Honor Society, Columbus Girlchoir and the Trojan Marching Band as drum major.
