WASHINGTON, D.C. – Interested high school juniors and seniors have until Sept. 30 to apply for the 2026 U.S. Senate Youth Program, U.S. Senators Roger Wicker and Cindy Hyde-Smith said in a Sept. 8 press release.
Two students from the state who hold elected or appointed leaderships during the 2025-2026 school year will be selected to receive a $10,000 scholarship through the program and join a trip with 102 students to Washington, D.C. for the 64th annual Washington Week next March. During the weeklong trip, students will have the opportunity to meet with U.S. Senators, cabinet members, Defense and State Department officials, other policymakers and senior media representatives.
