Saturday”s Cotton District Arts Festival in Starkville will offer a wide variety of musical stylings to choose from. Four stages throughout the historic district highlight several musical genres. The Metrocast Local Stage on Maxwell Street will offer the best of local talent. The CVB Main Stage on University Drive has premier acts from around the area and beyond. Enjoy some of the best rock bands around at the TVA Rock Stage on Muldrow Street. And check out a sampling of a large variety of music at the Eclectic Stage on Page Avenue.
Acoustic, rock, Americana, gospel, soul, blues, R&B, fiddle, bluegrass — it will all be there Saturday.
On the Metrocast Stage, hear great performances by the Starkville High School Jazz Band and Chorus. Starkville Academy will be represented by the Academy Singers, and Armstrong Middle School will present the Select Chorus.
The new MSU Show Choir will present contemporary tunes and stellar dance moves during their first appearance at the festival. And don”t miss the Poetry Slam, with young competitors from around the area.
