A Columbus man was arrested Wednesday morning in connection to a shooting that left one man injured.
Arsenio Reynolds, 35, was charged with aggravated assault and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon after a Tuesday shooting on Northside, according to a Columbus Police Department press release.
CPD responded to reports of a gunshot victim at approximately 6:45 p.m. Tuesday at the 1800 block of Seventh Avenue North.
Officers located a male victim who suffered a single, non-life-threatening gunshot wound. The victim was taken to Baptist Memorial Hospital-Golden Triangle for treatment.
CPD Public Information Officer Bryan Moore told The Dispatch the shooting followed a physical altercation between the two men, though he was unsure if the victim and shooter knew each other personally.
No other injuries were reported, and no further arrests are expected to be made, Moore said.
