The accounting firm of Kemp, Williams, Steverson & Bernard, PA, based in Meridian, has combined with Watkins, Ward and Stafford, PLLC, a regional certified public accounting firm based in West Point. The announcement was made Sept. 22.
Prior to the transition, the two firms had a professional relationship. Kemp Williams, Steverson and Bernard PA will continue serving the accounting and tax needs of its customers in Meridian and remain at its office at Hwy 19 S.
With a regional staff of 90 and a total staff of 150, Watkins, Ward and Stafford offers auditing, accounting, tax, audit, bookkeeping and payroll services as well as management advisory services. The firm has offices in 15 other locations including Starkville and Columbus.
