A bullet went into a residence in Crawford late Friday night, but there were no injuries reported, according to Lowndes County Sheriff Eddie Hawkins.
Deputies responded to the 100 block of Lodge Street, Hawkins said, after a report of shots being fired. They found a round had gone through a window of a residence and into a wall.
And that’s about all investigators know right now, Hawkins said.
“We don’t get a lot of cooperation,” he said. “Nobody saw or heard anything, other than the shot.”
Anyone with additional information is asked to contact the LCSO at 662-328-6788 or Golden Triangle Crime Stoppers at 800-530-7151.
