The following arrests were made by Lowndes County Sheriff’s Office:

  • Travis Weatherspoon, 37, was charged with arson and domestic violence.
  • Lavita Latham, 22, was charged with fraudulent use of I.D., contempt of court and simple assault by threat.
  • Anthony Gilmore, 22, was charged with burglary.
  • Breanna Mason, 18, was charged with possession, furnishing contraband items within a correctional facility, no insurance, possession of paraphernalia and expired license tag.
  • Derrick Brown, 38, was charged with burglary of a dwelling, no driver’s license and no insurance.
  • Bobby Shields, 32, was charged with possession of a weapon by felon and failure to appear.
  • Demonte Harris, 25, was charged with possession of Cocaine.
  • Padriaic Williams, 54, was charged with possession of cocaine and contempt of court.
  • Jasmon Thompson, 27, was charged with possession of more than 1 ounce of marijuana and careless driving.
  • Veronica Swisher, 37, was charged with possession of methamphetamine and shoplifting less than $250.
  • Christopher Shelton, 35, was charged with possession of cocaine and possession of marijuana in a vehicle.
  • Demarvis Hill, 22, was charged with burglary and two counts of failure to appear.
  • Garry Baswell, 37. was charged with possession of methamphetamine, public drunkenness and possession of marijuana.
  • Diane Anderson, 50, was charged with conspiracy to commit a crime, possession of more than one ounce of marijuana, possession of a controlled substance, possession of cocaine, possession of methamphetamine and possession of a weapon by felon.
