The following arrests were reported by the Lowndes County Sheriff’s Department and the Columbus Police Department:
Willie Lee Blevins, 50, of Hamilton was arrested Jan. 6 at the Monroe County Jail by MDOC and charged with violation of probation.
Jatavious Shyheim Gordon, 19, of 186 Lehmberg Road Lot 10, was arrested at 764 Highway 69 S., by CPD and charged with public drunkenness, disturbing the peace and violation of probation. His court date is scheduled for Feb. 12.
Gerald Derell Jett, 22, of 1309 Blackjack Road in Starkville, was arrested Jan. 3 at the Oktibbeha County Jail by LCSO and charged with felony taking of a motor vehicle, disorderly conduct, domestic violence, trespassing and resisting arrest. His court date is scheduled for March 25.
Stephan Alan Mattix, 33, of 170 Margaret Hairston Road in Crawford, was arrested Jan. 4 on Chism Road by LCSO and charged with domestic violence, burglary-breaking and entering a dwelling, DUI-first offense, speeding and driving with a suspended drivers license.
His court date is scheduled for Jan. 28.
Bobby Cortez Shields, 28, of 1602 Sixth St. N., was arrested Jan. 6 at his residence and charged with violation of probation.
Jeremiah Vincent Stokes, 33, of 180 Tabatha Lane, was arrested Jan. 6 at 2201 Main St., by CPD and charged with possession of marijuana, petit larceny-less than $500 and violation of probation.
