The following people were arrested on felony charges, according to reports released from the Lowndes County Sheriff”s Office:
- Wesley Nathan Byas, 24, of 4360 Highway 45 N. in Columbus, was arrested Dec. 31 by Mississippi Department of Corrections on a charge of violation of probation.
- Dionicio Marte” Lenoir, 24, of 613 E. Half Mile St. in West Point, was arrested Dec. 31 by Columbus Police Department on charges of possession of marijuana in a vehicle, and possession of cocaine.
- Kendrick Lamont Moore, 37, of 367 Hughes Road in Columbus, was arrested Jan. 1 by LCSO on charges of careless driving, suspended driver”s license, possession of paraphernalia, contempt of court and sale, possession and use of drugs within facilities.
- Dustin Donald Self, 29, of 20038 Walnut Lane in Aberdeen, was arrested Jan. 1 by LCSO on charges of possession of controlled substance, possession of controlled substance (misdemeanor), and public drunkenness.
- Brandi Nicole Fears, 22 of 677 Yorkville Road E. No. M3 in Columbus, was arrested Jan. 2 by LCSO on charges of possession of controlled substance, possession of controlled substance (misdemeanor) and possession of marijuana in a vehicle.
- Charity Renee Eckford, 35, of 3459 Highway 373, Lot 479 in Columbus, was arrested by CPD on a charge of violation of probation.
- Wayne Hansel Guest, 55, of 476 W. Jess Lyons Road in Columbus, was arrested Jan. 3 by LCSO on a charge of aggravated assault with weapon or other means.
- Carla Marie Hunt, 38, of 605 Ave B. in Columbus, was arrested Jan. 4 by CPD on a charge of aggravated assault with weapon or other means.
- Charles Keasler, 38, of 32 Hawk Lane in Reform, Ala., was arrested Jan. 4 by LCSO on a charge of false pretense.
- Taylor Nichols, 19, of 1758 Highway 12 in Steens, was arrested Jan. 5 by CPD on a charge of sexual battery.
- Nicholas Dewayne Tidwell, 31, of 8923 County Road 49 in Eldridge, Ala., was arrested Jan. 5 by MDOC on a charge of violation of probation.
- Ibe Conbingo Walker, 32, of 52 Sunny Lane in Columbus, was arrested Jan. 5 by LCSO on a charge of grand larceny, more than $500.
