Another suspect has been arrested for the Jan. 5 murder of 9-year-old Lasang Kemp.
Starkville Police Department arrested Christopher Perkins, 30, Friday morning for one count of murder and four counts of aggravated assault.
This is the eighth person arrested in relation to the incident that claimed Kemp’s life. SPD has served 62 total warrants in the investigation of this case.
Kemp was fatally shot on Santa Anita Drive when police believe Barron Hubbard, Tayron Fisher and Dellveon Lindsey shot into a vehicle Kemp was riding in with others.
