The Community Benefit Committee will host the Party with a Purpose Gala at the Trotter Convention Center. Proceeds go toward benefiting the community and youth. Station 82 will host a Christmas in July with vendors and face painting from 8 a.m.- 2 p.m. at 805 C Alabama St.

Junior Auxiliary of Starkville will host a Stuff the Bus event to collect school supplies for the upcoming school year. Members will be collecting at Chick-Fil-A, Walmart and Kroger.

Starkville Area Arts Council will host a Renaissance themed art market from 2-6 p.m. at 122 E. Main St., Starkville. Costumes are encouraged.

There will be concerts as a pre-Artesia Day event hosted by Cleo Sanders from 4-7 p.m. Multiple groups will perform including Charlie Jones & Friendly Brothers and George Dean and Gospel 4.
