Authorities are searching for a Lowndes County resident last seen in Jackson on June 10.
Roger Jamal Coleman Jr., 39, has been reported missing to Lowndes County Sheriff’s Office. According to a press release, Coleman was last seen at the Downtown Red Roof Inn on Larson Street in Jackson on June 10 and last spoke with his father on the phone on June 14. Since then, he has not answered calls or texts from family members, nor has he shown up for work.
When authorities visited his residence, it did not appear he had been home, the release said.
Lowndes County Sheriff Eddie Hawkins told The Dispatch law enforcement agencies in Jackson have also been notified of Coleman’s disappearance. Authorities do not know whether Coleman returned to Lowndes County, but he was supposed to have come back for work.
Coleman is described as a 6-foot-1, Black male weighing approximately 315 pounds. He was last seen driving a silver 2002 Honda Accord with a Mississippi license tag number LTC1336.
