Vendors are invited to apply for the 17th annual Holiday Handcrafts Bazaar at First United Methodist Church in Starkville, a fall shopping event featuring handmade art, gifts and specialty foods.
The bazaar will be held Oct. 30, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. and will showcase handcrafted items including pottery, paintings, jewelry, home décor, kitchen utensils, quilts and other textile arts, as well as non-sweet food products.
Vendors will be set up inside the church’s Christian Life Center and will be provided with an 8-by-8-foot booth, a 6-foot table, a chair and electricity as needed. The vendor fee is $50, with adjoining booths available for an additional $50. Additional tables may be rented for $10 each.
Applications should be submitted by Sept. 15. Vendors with qualifying handmade products will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis until all 35 booth spaces are filled.
In addition to vendor offerings, church-sponsored booths will feature baked goods and frozen casseroles for sale. Sandwiches and soup will also be available for lunch.
Proceeds from vendor fees and church-sponsored booths benefit local food ministries and other missions serving low-income residents. Funds also support disaster relief efforts through the United Methodist Committee on Relief.
Vendor applications are available at First United Methodist Church’s website, first-umc.org. For more information about vendor participation, contact Sarah Everitt at (601) 613-9085 or [email protected]
