As Children of God, we have the favor of God on our lives because He has granted it to us. “Thou hast granted me life and favour, and thy visitation hath preserved my spirit.” (Job 10:12) KJV
Favor doesn’t come easily; it’s something that grows out of living wisely. When we seek wisdom and understanding we will find favor in our lives, while those who choose to be reckless or careless will face difficulties. “Good understanding giveth favour: but the way of transgressors is hard.” (Proverbs 13:15) KJV
We have God’s special protection and blessings on our lives when we walk in His righteousness. No matter what challenges we face, we are assured that God’s favor is like a protective shield around us. “Surely, Lord, you bless the righteous; you surround them with your favor as with a shield.” (Psalm 5:12) NIV
God’s favor on our lives will give us victory over our enemies. He’s constantly watching over us, ensuring that we are not defeated by our enemies. Despite their attempts to bring us down, we have to stand firm in our belief that God’s favor will prevail. “By this I know that thou favourest me, because mine enemy doth not triumph over me.” (Psalm 41:11) KJV
When we live according to God’s principles, we will receive favor from God and man. God’s favor will promote us with increased wages and promotions. He will open the right doors and connect us to the right people that will put us in the position to be blessed. Favor and a good reputation are treasures that can make our lives rich. “So shalt thou find favour and good understanding in the sight of God and man.” (Proverbs 3:4) KJV
Have you been looking for a good wife and have not found her yet? If so, finding a good wife involves character, faithfulness, and compatibility. It’s not just a personal achievement or an emotional milestone; it’s also a spiritual blessing. When we find a wife, we also obtain favor from the Lord. “Whoso findeth a wife findeth a good thing, and obtaineth favour of the Lord.” (Proverbs 18:22) KJV
It’s not by our own effort or by our ability that we rise or achieve greatness; rather, it is through God’s glory that we find our true strength. He is the source of our strength and success. With His favor, we are strengthened for great purposes. “For thou art the glory of their strength: and in thy favour our horn shall be exalted.” (Psalms 89:17) KJV
So be encouraged today and always remember: The favor of God that we have on our lives has no end; it will last our entire lifetime. “For his anger lasts only a moment, but his favor lasts a lifetime! Weeping may last through the night, but joy comes with the morning.” (Psalm 30:5) NLT
