Jesus’ touch is so powerful until it only takes one touch from Him and immediately a change will happen in our lives. “Great is our Lord and mighty in power; his understanding has no limit.” (Psalm 147:5) NIV
There are some people who know how to bring out the worst in us. They know just what buttons to push that will make our blood boil until we can’t take it anymore. In times like these, one touch from Jesus is all we need. He knows how to calm us down before we say or do something that we will regret.
“Cease from anger, and forsake wrath; do not fret it only causes harm.” (Psalm 37:8) NKJV
All of us experience stress from time to time and sometimes that stress can feel overwhelming. It can be deadlines at work piles up, our phone won’t stop buzzing and we haven’t had a decent night sleep in weeks. In moments such as these, one touch from Jesus is all we need. “Then you will experience God’s peace, which exceeds anything we can understand. His peace will guard your hearts and minds as you live in Christ Jesus.” (Philippians 4:7) NLT
Some situations we go through make us feel down in the dumps and it seems like the feeling will never go away. During these times, one touch from Jesus is all we need and we will forget about our situation and start praising God. “That is why I can never stop praising you; I declare your glory all day long.” (Psalm 71:8) NLT
Trying to carry our burdens and someone else’s burdens can easily weigh us down. When this happens to us, one touch from Jesus is all we need. Immediately our burdens will be lifted up and we will begin to feel light. “For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.” (Matthew 11:30) KJV
If you have been suffering with a prolonged illness for a while and your sickness is not getting any better, one touch from Jesus is all you need. “This will bring health to your body and nourishment to your bones.” (Proverbs 3:8) NIV
The death of a loved one can be so devastating until it leaves us feeling a deep pain and sorrow that seems like it will never go away. In times such as these, one touch from Jesus is all we need. He will turn our deepest sorrow into joy. “You have turned my mourning into joyful dancing. You have taken away my clothes of mourning and clothed me with joy.” (Psalm 30:11) NLT
So be encouraged today and always remember: In order for Jesus touch’ to have an effect on our lives, we have to have faith. “And Jesus answering saith unto them, Have faith in God.” (Mark 11:22) KJV
