Storms are a natural part of life. Whether we’re entering a storm or currently in a storm, Jesus is with us, and He will calm our storm at the right time.
“When you go through deep waters, I will be with you. When you go through rivers of difficulty, you will not drown. When you walk through the fire of oppression, you will not be burned up; the flames will not consume you.” (Isaiah 43:2, NLT)
Some storms we experience can be intense and overwhelming, leaving us feeling lost, confused and searching for clarity. It may be an unexpected death of a loved one, an incurable disease, a broken relationship or something else. In times like these, Jesus will calm our storm at the right time by giving us His peace in the midst of it all.
“Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.” (John 14:27, KJV)
Even when storms crash into our lives, we may feel weak and unsteady. It’s important to realize that in our weakness, Jesus will calm our storm at the right time and strengthen us.
“And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness.” (2 Corinthians 12:9, KJV)
Have you ever felt like the storms of life were about to drown you, leaving you devastated, not knowing what to do or which way to go? If so, you don’t have to be afraid — just cry out to Jesus for help. He will calm your storm at the right time and help you get through it.
“For I the Lord thy God will hold thy right hand, saying unto thee, Fear not; I will help thee.” (Isaiah 41:13, KJV)
When storms start raging in our lives, we must remember to run to Jesus for our safety. He will calm our storm at the right time and protect us.
“The name of the Lord is a strong tower: the righteous runneth into it, and is safe.” (Proverbs 18:10, KJV)
During life’s storms, we may feel tossed about like leaves in the wind. In moments such as these, it’s comforting to know Jesus will calm our storm at the right time, providing us with hope.
“And so, Lord, where do I put my hope? My only hope is in you.” (Psalm 39:7, NLT)
Sometimes it seems like we’re facing the same storm repeatedly. When this happens to us, we must place our trust in Jesus and know He will calm our storm at the right time and deliver us.
“He trusted on the Lord that he would deliver him: let him deliver him, seeing he delighted in him.” (Psalm 22:8, KJV)
So be encouraged today, and always remember: No matter what storms we face in life, Jesus will calm our storm right on time.
“He maketh the storm a calm, so that the waves thereof are still.” (Psalm 107:29, KJV)
