We serve a God who is able to increase us in every area of our lives. All we have to do is ask Him to do it. “Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us.” (Ephesians 3:20) KJV
Some of us have gone through troubles in the past few months or even years and suffered some setbacks in life. Despite what we have been through, God is about to do some amazing things for us. He’s going to increase our greatness, name, business, and our ministry. People will see that God has raised us to a position of great honor and surrounded us with His comfort. “Thou shalt increase my greatness, and comfort me on every side.” (Psalm 71:21) KJV
It’s easy for us to say we have strong faith when things are going well in our lives. Nevertheless, when our faith is being challenged with life problems, trials and hardships, we sometime allow fear and doubt to overpower our faith. When this happens to us, God will increase our faith like He did His apostles. “And the apostles said, unto the Lord, increase our faith.” (Luke 17:5) KJV
When we begin to feel weak or exhausted, it may be that we’re physically worn out from work, relationships, parenting, or from life itself. No matter how strong and healthy we think we are, there comes a time when we start to grow weary and lose all the energy needed to keep us going. In moments such as these, God will step in and increase our strength. “He giveth power to the faint; and to them that have no might he increaseth strength.” (Isaiah 40:29) KJV
If we want to grow more in the grace and knowledge of God He will increase our learning. .By doing this it will allow His wisdom to be revealed in our decisions and interactions with others. “A wise man will hear, and will increase learning; and a man of understanding shall attain unto wise counsels.” (Proverbs 1:5) KJV
There are some people who make it hard for us to love them by the things they say and do to us. However, when we get to this point, God will increase His love in us. Once He does this, we will love everyone like God loves us including our enemies. “And the Lord make you to increase and abound in love one toward another, and toward all men, even as we do toward you.” (1 Thessalonians: 3:12) KJV
So be encouraged today and always remember: God is a God of increase and He will increase you and your children. “The Lord shall increase you more and more, you and your children.” (Psalm 115:14) KJV
