■ Butterfly Bonanza: The Lowndes County Master Gardeners will be hosting its annual Butterfly Bonanza at the Butterfly Garden at 40 Moore’s Creek Road. The event will be from 9-11 a.m. and will include Mississippi State University handouts and kids activities.
■ OCHS Dog Paddle: The Oktibbeha County Humane Society will be hosting its annual dog paddle at Moncrief Pool from 9 a.m. to noon. Day-of registration will be available for $30. ■ Book Sale: Friends of the Starkville Library will be hosting its monthly book sale from 11:45 a.m. to 5:45 p.m. at the Starkville Public Library.

■ Creve Coeur: The Columbus Arts Council, Tennessee Williams Tribute and the Golden Triangle Theatre present Tennessee Williams’ one-act play “A Lovely Sunday for Creve Coeur” at Rosenzweig Arts Center. ■ Grillin’ with Dads: The Columbus Recreation Department and Northeast Mississippi Healthy Start Program are hosting a pop-up village event from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the East Columbus Gym, 222 Lawrence St. Vendors will be providing information about nutrition, parenting, newborn care, health insurance, early childhood development and mental health services. ■ 10:4 TENN: MUW is hosting the fourth annual 10:4 TENN national 10-minute playwright competition in partnership with the Tennessee Williams Tribute. ■ Bulldog Bash: The state’s largest, free outdoor concert will start at 7 p.m. at the intersection of Jackson and Main Streets in downtown Starkville, with Grammy-winning rapper Ludacris taking the stage at 9:15 p.m. There will also be a Maroon Market arts festival featuring local musicians, arts, food vendors, and a kid zone starting at 3:30 p.m.
