With spring comes the annual Junior Auxiliary of Columbus Charity Ball, set for Saturday, April 5 at Trotter Convention Center in downtown Columbus.
The 22 high school seniors to be presented in the 2014 Charity Ball Court have collectively performed more than 2,000 service hours in the community. Their 8 p.m. presentation will precede the reveal of the Charity Ball king and queen. A performance by the Columbus Choral Society and live music by the band Stratta of Nashville, Tenn., also highlight this annual event that helps fund Junior Auxiliary’s numerous service projects benefiting the children of Lowndes County.
Balcony tickets and tickets to the Royal Breakfast served from 9:30-11:30 p.m. are available at Military Hardware, 1002 13th St. N., Columbus. Cost is $20 each.
To make a tax deductible donation to Junior Auxiliary of Columbus, mail checks to the attention of the treasurer at P.O. Box 11, Columbus, MS 39703.
