The Boys and Girls Clubs of the Golden Triangle will host its second Blue Tie Gala and Youth of the Year Event on Friday at the Columbus Club, 1815 14th Ave. N.
The evening begins with a social hour at 5:30 p.m., followed by the program at 6, celebrating the achievements of the club’s youth and the impact of its programs in the community. Guests will have the opportunity to explore displays highlighting STEM, workforce readiness, the Design Studio, and other enrichment initiatives, as well as participate in a curated auction supporting the club’s mission.
A highlight of the evening is the Youth of the Year competition, where three club members will compete for the 2026 title. The winner will go on to represent the Boys and Girls Clubs of the Golden Triangle at the State Youth of the Year competition in March, serving as a youth ambassador for the organization.
Proceeds from the Gala support after-school programs, mentorship, academic enrichment, arts and sports for more than 2,000 children and teens across the Golden Triangle. Attendance and sponsorship help ensure that young people in the community continue to receive the resources and guidance they need to reach their full potential.
