Zachary’s has teamed up with the City of Columbus and the Columbus Police Department to host Catfish for Cops. The fundraiser will support four members of the police force who are in need.
Zachary’s, 205 5th St. N., will sell catfish plates with all the fixings from 11 a.m.-3 p.m. Nov. 14. Plates will be $12, and all proceeds will go to the department.
All four members of the police department have their own needs. From financial struggle to health battles, all are in need of a helping hand. The NAACP, Silas McDowell, and Nathan Wilson, from Muddy Water Creative, are also major contributors to the event.
