Join Lowndes County 4-H for a fun and interactive Cooking Class designed to help youth build confidence in the kitchen while learning the basics of healthy eating and meal preparation! Participants will get hands-on experience preparing simple recipes, practicing kitchen safety, and exploring nutrition concepts in a fun environment.
This half-day experiential program encourages youth to develop lifelong healthy habits while learning valuable cooking skills they can use at home.
Participants will:
• Prepare and taste simple recipes
• Learn basic kitchen safety and cooking skills
• Explore healthy meal planning and nutrition concepts
• Build confidence and independence in the kitchen
