As a person with pathological Trump Derangement Syndrome (TDS), I find myself wondering whether elections will be held this November. GOP congressmen have been ordered to avoid meeting with their constituents, as they cannot very well say, “I am betraying you,” and what else can they say? I can imagine several cover stories for suspending elections, from being unable to “secure” polling sites, to nation-wide failure of voting technology. Alternatively, the election may be held but would be limited to loyal voters through various voter suppression methods, or be held but declared invalid.
I wonder all this because I can see no way that Democrats can fail to retake the House next fall, maybe even this fall in Virginia, and I can see no way that Trump/Musk will allow that.
I clearly need treatment for my TDS. With the slashing of federal health research, I will probably never find it.
