God has given every Believer power to bind and loosen. When we bind up something, we have to loosen the opposite of what we’re binding up with the Word Of God. “For the word of God is alive and powerful. It is sharper than the sharpest two-edged sword, cutting between soul and spirit, between joint and marrow. It exposes our innermost thoughts and desires.” (Hebrews 4:12) NLT
Sometimes the situation we’re in makes us feel sad and depressed. When we start feeling this way, we have to bind up sadness and loose joy. Once we do this, we will start rejoicing in the Lord. The more we rejoice, the happier we will feel. “But let the godly rejoice. Let them be glad in God’s presence. Let them be filled with joy.” (Psalm 68:3) NLT
When we find ourselves constantly worried and on edge, we need to bind up worry and loosen peace because worrying about it will not change anything. Nevertheless, when we allow the Peace of God to guard our heart and mind, it will take away our worries. “Then you will experience God’s peace, which exceeds anything we can understand. His peace will guard your hearts and minds as you live in Christ Jesus.” (Philippians 4:7) NLT
All of us will experience some kind of sickness but when sickness attacks our bodies, we need to bind it up and loosen God’s healing power. “Behold, I will bring it health and healing; I will heal them and reveal to them the abundance of peace and truth.” (Jeremiah 33:6) NKJV
A lot of times when we pray to God and He doesn’t answer us right away, our faith begins to wavier. During these times doubt will creep in, and we start doubting instead of believing God is going to do it. When this happens we have to bind up doubt and loosen faith. “But when you ask, you must believe and not doubt, because the one who doubts is like a wave of the sea, blown and tossed by the wind.” ‘That person should not expect to receive anything from the Lord.” (James 1:6-7) NIV
It’s hard to love people that hate us. However, when we bind up hate and loosen love, we can love everyone, even those we think we can’t love. “You have heard that it was said, ‘You shall love your neighbor and hate your enemy.’ But I say to you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who spitefully use you and persecute you.” (Matthew 5:43-44) NKJV
So be encouraged today and always remember: God has promised us whatever we bind, He will bind and whatever we loosen, He will loosen. “Verily I say unto you, Whatsoever ye shall bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever ye shall loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.” (Matthew 18:18) KJV
