Storm shelter demand has spiked after recent tornadoes
Before April 28, two suppliers of storm shelters reported an average of four to 10 orders for them a month in 2014. Each of them say since then, they’ve sold more than 100 and that it could be several months before they catch up with installing them.

Last year’s tornado season wasn’t the worst in Oklahoma history, either in the number of twisters or the number of lives taken.
