The inaugural Get Rowdy for Autism four-person scramble golf tournament is set for Monday at Old Waverly Golf Club in West Point.
Scott and Whitney Ferguson started the Rowdy Foundation last year in honor of their middle son, Myles. The couple’s goal is to raise funds to support and increase the level of care for those on the autism spectrum in the Golden Triangle.
All money raised from the tournament will go to the Golden Triangle Autism Center in West Point. As of Wednesday, nearly $25,000 has been raised.
Registration is open online at getrowdy.org. Play will start at 9 a.m. Monday.
The fee is $175 per golfer, which includes lunch. Sponsorship packages are also available.
