NEW HOPE — New Hope volleyball earned a sweep of Grenada in Tuesday’s home match.
Set scores were 25-9, 25-10 and 25-11.
Micaela Hudgins led the Trojans with nine kills, while Daylyn Nettles and Madyson McBrayer each had eight, and Zoe Goodman had two.
Annie Woolbright had a team-high 17 assists, while Kensley Woolbright and Maci Coleman tied for the team lead with four digs apiece.
Nettles led New Hope with eight aces, and Annie Woolbright had four.
New Hope’s next match is Thursday at home against Tupelo.
Caledonia 3, Itawamba Agricultural 0
CALEDONIA — Caledonia swept Itawamba Agricultural in Tuesday’s home match to improve to 10-4 on the season and 6-0 in district play.
Set scores were 25-20, 25-23 and 25-22.
Libby McMurphey led Caledonia with 10 kills, and Megan Chandler had nine.
Emily Clark had 29 assists, four aces and three digs, and Lily Rose Nodine had five digs and four aces.
Kordelia Bergstrom added a block for Caledonia, which will play at South Pontotoc at 6 p.m. Thursday.
Tuscaloosa HomeSchool 3, Heritage Academy 0
TUSCALOOSA, Ala. — Heritage Academy was swept at Tuscaloosa HomeSchool on Tuesday.
Set scores were 25-19, 25-22 and 25-11.
The Patriots (1-3) play at Pillow Academy at 6 p.m. Thursday in Greenwood.
