CALEDONIA — The Caledonia girls qualified for the MHSAA Class 4A playoffs with a 3-0 win over Itawamba Agricultural in Friday’s home match.
Claire Benson scored twice for the ‘Feds, and Jane Claire scored once.

CALEDONIA — The Caledonia boys team beat Itawamba Agricultural 2-1 on Friday in Caledonia.
Wes Rollins and Garrett Bergstrom each scored for Caledonia.
The Confederates will host Columbus on Tuesday.
Columbus boys 7, Nettleton 4, Friday
Jordyn Nash scored a hat trick for the Columbus boys soccer team in a 7-4 home win over Nettleton on Friday.
Fausto Barron scored twice for the Falcons, and Destin Poindexter and Juan Martinez each scored once.
Friday was the Falcons’ final home match. Columbus will play at Caledonia on Tuesday.
Nettleton girls 1, Columbus 0, Friday
The Columbus girls gave up an own goal in a 1-0 loss to Nettleton on Friday in Columbus.
Falcons goalkeeper C’Asia Grayer had eight saves on the night and blocked a penalty kick. Both Grayer and Columbus coach Daniel Meador received yellow cards during the match.
Starkville Academy boys 7, Magnolia Heights 0, Friday
SENATOBIA — The Starkville Academy boys team beat Magnolia Heights 7-0 in Friday’s road match in Senatobia.
Brody Pierce had a hat trick for the Volunteers. John Dylan Miller scored two goals, Brody Bennett scored once, and Wilkes Stubbs scored once.
The Volunteers will host Pillow Academy on Tuesday.
