Southern girls 52, Pickens Academy 21
The Pickens Academy girls basketball team ran into a rough patch at the Southern Academy Christmas Tournament Saturday in Greensboro, Alabama, falling to Southern 52-21. Lizzie Noland led Pickens Academy with five points, while Audrey Fondren had four. Both Latham and Audrey Fondren were all-tournament selections. Pickens Academy is back in action at home Friday against Tuscaloosa Academy.
