The Mississippi University for Women men's basketball team lost to Hendrix College 70-66 at the Millsaps Invitational on Saturday in Jackson.
The Owls (2-4) couldn't overcome a five-point halftime deficit, hanging around but proving unable to surpass the Warriors.
Tyler Jackson scored 21 points for MUW, Milos Zeradjanin had 16, and Tre Pinkston had 10.
The Owls shot under 30 percent from the field and under 25 percent from 3.
The Owls face host Millsaps College at 5 p.m. Sunday.
