EMCC women's basketball routs Coastal Alabama-North

Four Lions finished in double figures as the East Mississippi Community College women's basketball team routed Coastal Alabama-North 92-48 in Thursday's home game in Scooba.

 

Freshman Ja'Mia Hollings from West Point High School led the Lions (5-1) in scoring with 14 points, grabbed seven rebounds and recorded five steals. Sophomore Tye Metcalf scored 13 points and had five assists, Taylor Lattimore had 12 points and four steals, and New Hope product Julia Franks had 11 points and six rebounds.

 

The Lions will travel to face Shelton State Community College at 5:30 p.m. Monday in Tuscaloosa, Alabama.
