STARKVILLE — Staff changes continue for Mississippi State’s Joe Moorhead as he prepares for his second season as head coach of the Bulldogs.
According to published reports Monday afternoon, Luke Getsy is leaving the MSU staff to return to the National Football League’s Green Bay Packers as quarterbacks coach. Getsy was offensive coordinator and wide receivers coach for Moorhead. Prior to coming to Starkville, he was the Packers’ wide receivers coach.
Also Monday, defensive coordinator and safeties coach Bob Shoop and defensive line coach Brian Baker each agreed to two-year contract extensions to remain at MSU, according to 247 Sports.
On Sunday, running backs coach Charles Huff left to take a similar position at the University of Alabama.
