STARKVILLE — Former Mississippi State running back Josh Robinson was arrested and charged with disorderly conduct Saturday
morning, according to the Oktibbeha County Sheriff’s Office.
Robinson, who played for MSU from 2012-14, was arrested 1:45 a.m. Saturday at Aspen Heights, an apartment complex near the MSU campus. He was released on bond. No other information was available.
Robinson became the starter as a junior and he led the Southeastern Conference with 11 touchdowns and was third with 1,203 yards. He earned second-team All-SEC honors from the league coaches and The Associated Press.
After redshirting in 2011, Robinson was used as a backup as a redshirt freshman and sophomore.
Before the 2014 Orange Bowl, he announced he was going to forgo his senior season and enter the NFL draft. He was taken in the sixth round by the Indianapolis Colts. He rushed for 39 yards in five games with the Colts last season. He was waived in November, but the Colts signed him to the their practice squad. He is a free agent.
