OXFORD — Former Arizona State point guard Austin Nunez has committed to Ole Miss, he announced on social media Monday.
Nunez, who just finished his freshman year with the Sun Devils, has three seasons of eligibility remaining. He joins Georgetown guard Brandon Murray in Chris Beard’s first transfer class.
The 6-foot-2, 170-pounder from Texas averaged 4.1 points per game at Arizona State last season. He was a four-star prospect in the 2022 class, according to 247Sports. He averaged 28.1 points per game as a senior at Wagner High in San Antonio and shot 40% from 3-point range.
