RIENZI — Columbus Christian Academy basketball completed a doubleheader sweep of Tri-State on the road on Monday night.
The Rams started things off with a 55-23 win in the girls game, with Faith Yeates leading CCA (16-9, 3-4 district) in scoring with 16 points. Satavia Watkins was the other Rams player in double-figures in the win, scoring 10 points.
In the boys game, the Rams (18-7, 4-3 district) saw four players finish in double figures in scoring as CCA won, 65-51. Garrett Weathers led all scorers with 21 points, and close behind were Joe Michael Edwards with 18 points, Jackson Howard with 14 points and Caleb McCarter with 10 points.
Columbus Christian Academy will play Winona Christian in its next games on Tuesday night.

Noxubee County 59, Hatley 45
HATLEY — Noxubee County girls basketball defeated Hatley, 59-45, in its final district game on Monday night.
The Tigers (21-3) finished district play a perfect 8-0 as Tootie Lockett led all scorers with 30 points. Jamaya Dancy also had 11 points for Noxubee County, who awaits its draw in the upcoming MHSAA Class 3A, Region 4 tournament.
