Wednesday is National Signing Day around the country for Division I football players taking advantage of the NCAA’s early signing period.
And Mississippi State is set to bring in plenty of fresh talent in the 2022 recruiting class.

3:41 p.m. — Defensive lineman Jacarius Clayton signs with Mississippi State. The Bulldogs appear to close the day by flipping the Tupelo product from Ole Miss to MSU.
3:28 p.m. — Offensive lineman Trent Ramsey signs with Cal. Mississippi State was one of the Florida high schooler’s top choices.
2 p.m. — Linebacker Javae Gilmore is officially part of the signing class. Gilmore played at Amite (Louisiana) High School, the same school as current MSU linebacker Tyrus Wheat.
1:59 p.m. — Linebacker Khalid Moore becomes a Bulldog. Moore played at Poplarville High School and committed to MSU in March.
1:22 p.m. — Offensive lineman Percy Lewis signs with MSU. Lewis, a McAdams product, has been playing at Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College. He is the nation’s top-rated JUCO O-lineman.
1:18 p.m. — Linebacker Avery Sledge has signed with Mississippi State. The three-star from Forrest County Agricultural has flipped from Tulane.
12:53 p.m. — Wide receiver Jarnorris Hopson is now a Bulldog. The Horn Lake product pledged to MSU back in April.
11:05 a.m. — Edge rusher Trevion Williams signs with Mississippi State. Williams, a four-star prospect from Crystal Springs, was uncommitted until Wednesday.
10:19 a.m. — Wide receiver Marquez Dortch signs with Mississippi State. The George County wideout flipped from Ole Miss to MSU in November.
10:08 a.m. — The Bulldogs flip cornerback DeCarlos Nicholson from Kentucky to MSU. The Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College standout was committed to MSU earlier this year.
10:06 a.m. — Holmes County Central cornerback Khamauri Rogers signs with Miami. MSU had hoped to flip Rogers but was unable to.
10:04 a.m. — Mississippi State misses out on Greenville Christian wide receiver Chris Bell. Bell signs with Louisville instead.
9:51 a.m. — Cornerback Audavion Collins signs with the Bulldogs. Collins prepped at Newton High School in Covington, Georgia.
8:49 a.m. — Defensive lineman Kalvin Dinkins joins the class. Dinkins, who starred at Lake, was a two-time all-state selection.
7:55 a.m. — Safety Wesley Miller signs with Mississippi State. Miller, who played at Heritage Academy, starred on both sides of the ball to help the Patriots win two state titles.
7:48 a.m. — Offensive lineman Jakson LaHue becomes the newest signee. LaHue, a tackle from Azle, Texas, decommitted from Virginia Tech on Dec. 6 and flipped to MSU four days later.
7:43 a.m. — Edge rusher Donterry Russell joins the Bulldogs’ recruiting class. Russell, the younger brother of current MSU player De’Monte Russell, played high school football at Provine.
7:36 a.m. — Defensive back Trent Singleton signs with MSU. Singleton played all over at Raymond, including at quarterback, and made the Mississippi/Alabama all-star game as a senior.
7:24 a.m. — Offensive lineman Lucas Taylor joins the class. Taylor, a star at St. Paul’s Episcopal School in Mobile, Alabama, was a three-time MaxPreps all-American.
7:18 a.m. — Quarterback Braedyn Locke signs with Mississippi State. Locke is an Air Raid quarterback from Rockwall, Texas, who set the state passing touchdowns record as a senior.
6:38 a.m. — Offensive lineman Jackson Cannon is officially signed. Cannon is a 6-foot-5, 310-pound lineman from Ola, Georgia, who was a preseason all-state selection.
